Credit Cards/Debit Cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover/NOVUS, and American Express are accepted, in person, by mail or via the Internet.

Personal and Electronic Checks - Please contact the Bursar's Office at (256) 824-6226 to have an Accounts Receivable hold removed after payment is made. Payments may be made with certified funds (Cash, credit/debit card, cashiers check, or money order). If payment ismade by personal check or E-check there is an additonal two week waiting period before holds can be removed. Federal law prohibits the use of business checking accounts.

Payment Options

There are four options of making a payment for tuition and fees:

1. Internet - From the Account Summary or Account Summary by Term page click on the Credit Card Payment link, then select the term to be paid. No standing in a line that might stretch down the stairs and into the lobby of the University Center, no standing in a hot, stuffy hallway, and no parking hassles. Sit at home or work in your own comfort and pay with ease.

2. Mail - Payments can be sent to the Bursar's Office via the mail. Payments should be sent to the following address. Please write your student number on your check/money order. Please do not send cash through the mail. Payments must be received, NOT post marked, by the due date on the bill to be considered received on time.

University of Alabama in Huntsville
ATTN: Cashier
University Center 213
Huntsville, AL 35899-5050

3. Drop Box- A drop box will usually be located in the University Center in the hall outside the Cashier's Office.

4. In person - Come to the University Cashier (UC 213), get in line, wait.....pay your bill. If coming in person, please have your student number ready for the cashier.

TIP: If you choose to pay in person please pay early to avoid a long wait in line. You don't have to wait until the due date to pay your tuition and fees.
